This site is accessible by boat only. Diving is done on the north wall of Waterloo Bay. Due to remote location, local charter operators are recommended.
DIVE SITE DESCRIPTION
The north wall of Waterloo Bay epitomises the diving at Wilsons Promontory. The dive site is full of bommies up to 10m high that provide spectacular swim throughs and overhangs where a keen diver can search for Crayfish.
Abundnant marine life including wrasse, schools of barber perch so thick that you almost have to push them aside, and the occasional seal along with large varieties of coral and plant life make this a spectacular site.
The depths in this area vary from 30m-10m and are suitable for divers from open water to more experienced. I recommend the use of a local dive charter operator as the area is very remote.
