If being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, a little seesaw, then a hoop of fire - they're trained for that!

Here are a few more beginner videos for general amusement (and personal embarassment) from around southern Queensland and northern NSW. You can understand why my partner keeps telling me to keep my day job

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3FGadgYw3k
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nmphxqn6-wA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bx8HvuADUxU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9_s_cQEhQY

A question: The quick and crude edit was used to communicate the fun of diving and entice overseas relatives into visiting. The original videos look MUCH better than what comes through on YouTube. What is the best advice for formats, codex, frame rates, etc. to use on YouTube or are there other services that produce better results?????

Phin your videos are great - dont worry too much about the format on Youtube, most people will not watch it full screen and the bigger you make them, the longer it will take to cache for people - and if they are like me I will move on to something else.

ps - if anyone finds something on Youtube that they want to rip-off. Go to http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php paste the youtube link and pick download. It will download as a flv file - you can either download a flv viewer, convert the file, or if you have the right CODECS installed you simply rename to mpg and view in Media Player. Just remember that the end result wont be any better than you see on Youtube

Anyone got anymore home-made shark vids? - geez I wish you took some GWS video Aengus would love to have seen them.

have fun

This video may contain content that is inappropriate for some users, it about a diving incident in Dabah.

A lot of the videos on Youtube breach copyright - and when reported are deleted - but dont worry - there are heaps of duplicates of this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-GOpc_pw1c. I am unaware of the name of the shark (it is a frilled shark of some type) - but it was found by a fisho late January (this year) - the Japanese put it in one of their marine parks - apparently the shark is 160cm long.
