haha...yeah my 15 seconds of fame You should have come. Haven't got many photos yet. I think JF is still waiting for permission from the Ephorate as to what we can show and say. Was a great experience though. The guys we dived with had some amazing stories and photos as they have been doing that stuff for 30+ years on mostly ancient wrecks there in Greece. Also met a really interesting guy from deep submergence laboratory at WHOI (Woods Hole Institute). Those guys are like Nasa but underwater. Some amazing equipment and some amazing photos he showed us of very deep wrecks - 800m+. Real interesting bloke to chat to as well. John deserves all the credit for organising this and the guys from the Greek Underwater Ephorate were amazing to dive with. I guess JF will update images and video and info on the website here http://krg.org.au/mentor/

Not me in the image on the press release but another handsome looking bald guy from the Underwater Ephorate

I was too busy with the airlift to have my hands in my pockets.

We did find some awesome stuff and I'm sure JF will post images on the krg website when he has time. I think he's still there finishing up the land digs and the lecture series that were taking place on the island.

You should have come and filmed it. Some amazing blue water there and an interesting little wreck site.

There's some video here:
