Description: This is an amazing dive site, often overlooked by many divers due to the shallowness of the dive. But those that have dived here will tell you that it is well worth it!

Although it can sometimes be a bit silty, affecting the viz on occasion, this is a macro photographer's paradise - great for novice and expert photographers alike!! Renowned for it's abundance of sea horses (both White's and Big-bellied), there are many other critters you are likely to encounter at this site, including: three-bar porcupinefish, fan-belly leatherjackets, cuttlefish, gobies, horned blennies, luderick, dumpling squid and red bait crabs. The sponge life at this site is also something to behold!

Most of the animal life can be found on the pier's pylons and on the netting which runs along between them. This is a simple site to navigate - just follow the pylons out and round the corner to the right, keeping the netting on your right. When it's time to head back, simply turn around and return to shore the way you came, with the netting now on your left.

This is also an excellent night dive, where you are likely to encounter critters such as eastern king prawns flitting along the sandy bottom and octopus "feeling" their way along the netting in search of their prey. Definitely worth checking out!
