Directions: Approximately 2 kms off Glenelg. The big buoy is on the barge, and the barge is 80 metres south-east of the dredge. There is a line of 11 star droppers going between the two, starting at the port side bow of the dredge, and finishing at the port bow of the barge
Wreck Description: The barge is a hopper barge that used to be towed behind the dredge, and was sunk at the same time. The dredge is about the same size as the barge, and is just as well populated. Inside the wreck are the usual myriads of bullseyes, as well as cuttlefish, boarfish, old wives, dusky morwongs (strongy's), and the occasional blue devil. If you're lucky you will find the resident horned blemy, and a few other surprises. There is penetration available, but ONLY for those extremely experienced in that kind of diving, as it can only be done in the best conditions (surge rules it out), as it requires removing the bcd for all but the smallest divers. A great dive, and if you're good on air, you can do it and the dredge on the one dive.
