My DR Rec EXP wing bladder has suffered a tiny pin ***** hole. Given the small size I was keen to attempt a repair. Its made from urethane plastic and I was wondering if anyone knew the best product to attempt a repair with?

TEAR-AID Repair Products

www.tear-aid.com/

TEAR-AID patches are for the repair of holes and tears on canvas, nylon, rubber, plastic and vinyl. Peel and stick. Extremely high adhesion.

Mate this stuff is magic and at $25 a packet well worth having a packet in the spares kit ... regards Baz

Tear-aid worked a treat, 8 dives later and no leaks.

Just a blob of aquaseal is fine.

I had both my bladders punctured through both walls (4 holes) and aquaseal worked fine with just a small amount to cover each hole. I do have tearaid as well for when I travel.

Aquaseal is not a glue its a sealant.

Yep it will bung up a hole but depending on the material it is applied toooo decides on how long it will hold - plastics are not a good bonding agent for Aquaseal so the fix on a plastic type bladder will not be a permanent seal.

Use Tear Aid - its made for the job. ... regards Baz
