Hi all, my name is Vic Young, I’ve been diving since 1984, most of which has been along the Victorian coast.
I spent some time in the Royal Australian Navy; serving on HMAS Hobart which is now a dive wreck off South Oz so I got to dive around the world a bit as well.
I started out with a Nik III with a land flash in a home-made housing. I now use an S&S MMII with an YS60 strobe on a home-made sea arm, lenses (for now) 20mm wide angle and a 1:3 macro. Film; well I just use what ever I grab at the supermarket on the way down to the dive, normally Kodak.
My dive buddy and often model is my wife Karen who has also dabbled with some photos although I haven’t taken the still out for a while as I got hold of a video but I’m looking at trying and mount the still on top of the Video. Well hope you like what you see and any comments will be appreciated.
And remember get out there and get wet, see you on the water, Vic
